What is Satsang?

Satsang, which translates to "being in the company of the highest Truth," has been occurring in various forms for as long as people have gathered to explore their true essence. Satsang is a Sanskrit term derived from two roots: Sat meaning “true” and Sangha meaning “community”. It can be translated as "associating with good people" or simply "being in the company of truth," and refers to the act of gathering with like-minded, uplifting people, especially those on a spiritual path. Anyone who seeks Truth is participating in Satsang—though the word originates from Sanskrit, its meaning is Universal. Your true nature is beyond time and form. This can be referred to as the Self, pure Awareness, Higher Power or Truth. It is the essence of who you are—the source of Love, Joy, and Peace. In Satsang, this realization becomes accessible. You are introduced to the formless awareness, to the divine Truth, which is your own inner light and origin. Satsang invites you to recognize that this pure consciousness is the foundation of all creation and that without it, nothing can exist. Through presence, grace, and guidance in Satsang, we can directly experience this profound realization.

Is Satsang a form of therapy or a replacement for medical treatment?

It is essential to recognize that Satsang is not intended to replace therapy, medical treatment, or professional diagnosis. Satsang, particularly through the practice of self-inquiry, can be a powerful tool for self-realization. While Satsang pointings offer profound guidance toward spiritual awakening, they are not a substitute for professional medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. Any decisions regarding changes or discontinuation of therapeutic, psychological, psychiatric, or other medical treatments should be made under the supervision of a qualified medical or mental health professional. During consultation we will determine which Satsang package best suits you or create a tailored one for your Self. You will be able to choose the specialized topic for your capstone session to renew your heart and mind, realign to better navigate life, overcome fears and strong emotions, develop new behaviors and experience a new perspective of your existence.

“In Satsang, the unreal gets emptied out. All the old tendencies thin away. The mind itself enters its source, and peace prevails. Remember, you are not creating a new Self. You are not going to ‘perfect’ the Self. The Self is already pure. It is already here - complete. These alone needs to be clearly seen. Satsang is the mirror in which Truth is recognized.”
